Selection Procedure:

We select the participants for our show by a lottery style draw. The applications are mailed out in August, the deadline date is October 31. The show is filled from the draw, those not successful in the draw are put on a wait list. Anyone applying after the deadline date are also added to the wait list.

Categories:
  • Body Products: soaps, lotions, oils, aromatherapy, etc. All product must be labeled. Due to health issues you MUST limit the amount of open product on display. Please wrap or contain product in clear bins with tight fitting lids.
  • Candles: absolutely no lit candles, heated incense or any other heated or burning items allowed.
  • Creative Activities: (outdoor booths only) face painting, tattoos, palm reading, etc. Must demonstrate product!
  • Ceramics:
  • Fabric: clothing and accessories
  • Glass: stained, kiln, slumped, etched, etc.
  • Jewellery: ALL MEDIUMS
  • Leather:
  • Naturals: dried flowers, wheat weaving, paper, driftwood, etc. No living plants
  • Original Art: ALL MEDIUMS (prints, photography, oils, watercolors, etc.)
  • Pottery Functional: bowls, plates, baking dishes, etc.
  • Pottery Non Functional: (decorative)
  • Sculpture & Carvings: ALL MEDIUMS (metal, wood, stone, etc.)
  • Specialty Foods: Every booth MUST HAVE
     
    1. Food Safe Certificate
    2. An acceptance letter from the health authority
    3. Meet with the Canadian Food Agency "Basic Labeling Requirements for Prepackaged Foods"
    4. Send sample of labeling **All Certificates must be current!**
  • Toys and Books: toys (all mediums), kids and doll furniture, all costumes. ALL books.
  • Vocal Artists and Musical Instruments:
  • Wood Functional: (furniture, shelves, bowls, trays, etc.)
  • Wood Non Functional: (decorative, tole painting, etc.)
  • Fabric All Other: fabric crafts except for toys
  • Other: anything that cannot fit into the above categories
